Question New build doesnt always display, cpu light turns on then vga then boot

New build and first time doing it

After finishing everything I booted the first time and everything was fine, until I wanted to install a driver and I got a black screen with the PC still running.

When booting , the mobo CPU light is on>off>vga light on>off
Then the msi logo appears and SOMETIMES boots into windows and most of the time it just blackscreens with the PC running
My HDMI is plugged into the GPU but it doesn't matter as even when plugged into the mobo it still black screens
Tried 2 cables and 2 monitors

Ram light occasionally turns on briefly but I suspect that is because of it not being seated properly when removing and reinstalling ram

IT 12400
MSI pro b660m a
hellhound rx6650xt

Update; mobo light sequence is

CPU >ram>CPU >vga
Still no signal

Update:
Fixed
everything seems to be working fine (hopefully) after a bios update, no issues so far
