First off my components (all brand new except CPU)
GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H LGA 1155 Intel B75 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

G.SKILL NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-4GBNS

SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Rosewill Computer Case - CHALLENGER - ATX Mid Tower - Black, Gaming - Three Included Fans - Two Extra Side Fans ...

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

Intel Core -i5 2400 (used but works perfectly in another pc)

So I ordered the above parts on newegg recently and cannot get the pc to boot or power up. I am fairly new to this but have built other pcs in the past. The Ethernet port on the motherboard will not even light up. I tried the above PSU on another pc and it also would not boot up properly....leading me to believe its a PS issue. The CPU and case fan turn on and run just fine though. Unfortunately I only had one older PSU to try and it did not have the 8 pin plug that the Gigabyte MB requires, so it did not work either. Just the fans worked.

I also recently tried the ASRock Z75 Pro3 LGA 1155 Intel Z75 l Motherboard with a CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W PS and that combo wouldn't boot either. I am really getting frustrated and cant get this figured out.

Any help would be so appreciated at this point! I am running out of options.

with the speaker connected and no memory, all I get is a ton of beeps all In a row then it stops. the fans stop, then turn back on with another bunch of beeps all identical in length.

I did throw the cpu back in a different pc today just to make sure and it fired right up! It's an older pc but at least that rules out a faulty cpu

I believe I did try this more than once and nothing happens. I couldn't get anything to display or any light on the Ethernet port. What are the odds I received two faulty MBs in a row??

Just to double check I used the PSU off my working pc (using 24 pin & 4 pin connectors) and same exact scenario! Without the memory installed I get a ton of beeps all in a row and with memory, nothing happens as stated before.

Thoughts guys? Oh, thank you so much for helping me thus far! I am all ears at this point.

Good and bad news! It was the cpu fan! As soon as I installed the stock Intel fan she booted up! Only issue now is my network card is not working? The amber and green light on the outside flashes every few seconds and under local connections it's saying the Ethernet cable is unplugged?

I really appreciate the help! I also figured out the Ethernet issue. I had to reset my router and cable modem etc.

edit - I figured out the BIOS IDE to AHCI thing on my own. My luck has changed today, ha!

One last thing while I'm at it. How come when I boot, my NAS networked folders /drives dont load until I click on them (the Red X is shown)? I know this is a problem with windows lately (running Win 10).

Thanks.
