[SOLVED] New Build - HDD Post Error A2 - Asus Prime X299-Deluxe II ATX LGA2066 Motherboard

I am building a PC with the following config:

I get the following error:

HDD Post Error with error code A2

I have tried mounting the Intel 760p Series 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive on both the M2 slots but still get the same error.
Tried couple of monitors as well.
Removed the motherboard battery and put it in.
Will greatly appreciate any pointers.

Just popped the SSD in my friends build and it showed up in disk management as 1907.3 GB free. So ssd is not the issue.

Thanks for the response,

1. I have tried the vertical socket same response.
2. I don't get to a screen at all so I don't know of a way to update the bios.

remove the M.2 and try getting a screen
or use USB BIOS FlashBack
