New build: Help with component compatibility please?

Hi, this is my first time building a PC and I'm not sure if all the parts I have selected are compatible.

Would be greatly appreciated if someone could give some insight.

All specs:

CPU: Intel i7 7700k
GPU: EVGA Gtx 1050 Ti
Motherboard: Asus Strix Z270F
RAM: Ballistix Sport LT (2x4Gb)
Storage: WD Blue 1TB 7.2k Rpm
PSU: Seasonic M12II 520W
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

What is the main use for PC?
If it is gaming, better downgrade cpu to i5 and upgrade GPU.
