Since you are not OCing, you don't need a K CPU, a CPU cooler or a Z77 motherboard.

1600 RAM is enough but hey, that's cheap.

-no need for a ROG board if you are not going to overclock
-no k chip if you are not going to overclock
-no need for a CPU cooler if you dont overclock
-fast ram is utterly useless
-no need for so much wattage
-no need for a atx case if you are not using all the space
-games dont run on blu-ray disks but if you watch blu-ray movies, go put it back in
-1920x1200 isnt worth it over 1080p

Really nice comment on this.
Kind of a eye-opener on lower budget option available.

Some of the parts i chooce may seen overkill, but i put them as a stability/performance option for the money.
I use my PC mostly for gaming but it is used for workstation as well.

for 40$ i still think the cpu i choose get better overall performance may be wrong.
MB Will need to check on that maybe the one i pick is too expensive for what i need. I just love the ROG esthetic and stability
I will need to look more on the monitor I first pick, your choice seen really interesting. 1200 over 1080 for Gaming.
Not sure if i will keep the Blue-ray drive anymore

RAm for around 20$ i will probly keep them depending of the MB i pick. I read really interesting articles on performance with Intel setting.

Case is a good deal you found.

PSU for the stability and load i perfer to go with safer option. The one i pick is a plat and i want it to work around 60% load.

If you're not overclocking no need for the 3570K.

Yeah I heavily discourage against BD-R on PC. Two reasons. The first is that games being produced on BD-R will never happen. Everything is moving toward online distribution like Steam. The second is that the playback software costs an extra $100 a license and is heavily unreliable. It's more of a hassle than it should be.

if its a true workstation, you are better off with a xeon e3 1230v2 at that rate. but you arent exactly putting working in the priority list
