Im buying a used one for $150, so I already saved about half

Motherboard is not good and likely to cause throttling under high loads. The PSU isn't very good either and overpriced to boot. That 270x is way overpriced you can get a much faster 290 for that much.

The links im seeing still show a 960g motherboard(not good), and an overpriced evga b1.

Your mb choice is not brilliant - however it is proven to run 8 cores with no issues - id drop another $30 on the ud3p but the choice is yours.

You could also do with an aftermarket cooler in all honesty.

If you're struggling with budget consider dropping to a fx 6300.
