New build, insight please.

So, I'm making a new build and wanted to know what you guys think and what I could improve.
I7 4790k (with stock cooler, but will buy noctua dh n14 and OC later)
G1 gaming gtx 970
MSI z97 gaming 5
2x8gb DDR3 1600mhz
XFX core 550w (80+ bronze)
Corsair Carbide 200r
250gb 850 evo + 1tb wd green


I should point out that I live in portugal and in relation to the mobo, the MSI is 5€ cheaper than asrock extreme 4 and 20€ cheaper then the asus z97-a, thats why I picked it (and I like the color scheme)

Anyways, would love to hear some input regarding the build, i'm all hears

this build is good would reccomend a better higher wattage psu but its hard to build considering you have a colour scheme but if you change the psu then this build will just perfect.

look at good 650w min for that gpu your running. it not the total wattage you have to look at but the 12v line wattage and amp ratings.
Corsair Carbide 200r
look at cases sized like the r300. a slightly larger case on a first build is easier to work with.

I picked this one because I read good things about the brand and I saw jayztwocent and linustechtips videos about powersupplys and both said 500W is more than enough for a single card config (I preffer one high end instead of SLI)

also one thing regarding the cpu cooler you intend to add later assuming you mean the d14 i would recommend the d15 not 14 as it cools better and the design has been changed for ram compatibility

And btw, I need a monitor, the best I found for 100-150€ was a 22" BenQ 1080p 60hz 2ms, can anyone suggest a monitor in this price range but 144hz? 20 to 24" I don't care much for the response time so that isn't a limiting factor, and IPS or TN is the same to me, I was really trying to hit the 144hz

just fo future proofing is all if you ever sli get it now or spend twice as much later
