New Build is Not posting

When I turn it on it will post A4, A2,99,62 and D7 codes. 99 is the rest code and d7 is keyboard (i don't have a keyboard hooked up to it) But the A's are memory or cpu. And 62 is video card. It is basically telling me to start over.....

I have already moved the card to a new slot on the board did the same to the memory. Did not help.

Need help trouble shooting or should i just take it in.

If starting the board with single RAM module and no card, monitor connected to the motherboard, what code getting?

Well, if you can see the post codes, and one is supposedly the video card, but you can see it on the monitor.... Not sure how that can happen.

What I would do is simplify everything. Remove the video card, run only one slot of RAM. Reset the BIOS. Then boot.

My board has a error code read out on the board it self. The screen stays black. The screen was alway plugged in to the board. After taking out all my PCI cards (i had the wireless card in there too). It reads 19,4f,62,99,97.

Do you have everything plugged in properly? Is it in a tight fit? Etc?

Make sure the computer is un-plugged and the motherboard is not showing any turned on lights.
Take the video card completely out 1st of all. (not even connected to the PSU)
Plug the video cable into your motherboard (in this case a DVI port, or VGA port into the monitor)
Plug the computer back in, turn it on. See if it boots, if not and it does the same exact thing, Take 1 RAM slot out.
Restart the computer again. If it boots this time, then your RAM stick is faulty and you need to contact your manufacture for a new one from the website.

If nothing else works, Try a different motherboard with the same video card, and RAM sticks to see if it works. If it does, then it's clearly your motherboard having problems, Contact your motherboard manufacture for a new one.

Memory was not seated right.

That will do it. I once had a complete POST failure during the older 486 days when the motherboard IDE connector was just pins with no guide box around it to make sure it was 1) put in the correct direction (it also had no blocked pins for one-way insertion). 2) not offset so only half the pins were connected.

They were also pretty buried under the cable. Naturally it took two weeks for me to find that I had offset the pins by one row - hence the no-post situation. I was ready to shoot the damn thing. Then I was ready to shoot myself for such a basic error.
