CPU cooler- Deepcool LT720

RAM- Trident Z NEO 32GB (2x16) DDR4-3600 (F4-3600C18D-32GTZN) (PURCHASED)

M.2- Kingston NV2 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD

GPU- Gigabyte GAMING OC Rev 2.0 GeForce RTX 3070 LHR 8 GB

PSU- Corsair RM750e 750 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX

I’m in the US and my budget is 1200 excluding the ram and cpu
The RTX 4070 12GB is due for release April 13th. That card should retail for $700 if I had to guess and it will destroy the 3070 8GB.

Save some money on your board.

ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II $169.99

Better psu. Japanese capacitors along with a 10 year warranty.

Do you think it will be realistic for me to be able to get a 4070?

It should fit your budget. The RTX 4060 8GB is also due for release next month and is rumored to have similar performance as the RTX 3070 Ti 8GB. That will most likely be a $400 card.
I think I’m gonna use the 3070 and the original board but definitely switch out the psu. I will definitely upgrade gpu in the future. Thank you for your help!
