New build, no display from GPU but display from mobo

Hey all have just finished putting together a new build and I'm having issues with getting the GPu to show a display? Everything powers up including the GPU but yet does not display anything to monitor? Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated!

Build is -
Mobo - gigabyte Aorus gaming 3
CPU- i7 8700k
GPU - gigabyte aorus 1080ti
SSD M.2 970 evo 500gb
Memory - 2 x 8gb corsair vengeance rbg pro
Ssd - 2tb
Cooling - nzxt x62

a) Make & model of PSU?

b) Have you connected 6-pin/8-pin power cable(s) to the 1080 Ti (if required)?

c) Using any adapters for monitor input?

Both 4 pins are connected

No idea then mate, unless you need to set default GPU in the BIOS (I had to set mine from "on board" to "PCI Express" in order for new PCI Express card to work). But most new boards nowadays can do that automatically I believe.
