New build no display

So I got a new build. Checked wiring went through the troubleshoot boot list with no luck. It starts up everything lights up with no beeps but no display. I tried plugging hdmi into the board and gpu. Kind of stuck now.

Ryzen 7 1800x
MSI Geforce 1060 6gb
EVGA G3 650 watt
TridentZ rgb 16gb ram
Seagate 2tb hard drive
Nzxt kraken m22 liquid cooler
ROSEWILL Cullinan case

i'm not sure but is the 470x motherboard for a 1800x ? i mean that's one generation behind . you can always use google . i'm not sure.

I used mutiple building sites like pc part picker to make sure everythings compatible. But now I look on motherboard support page and I dont see 1800x listed. Crap.

yes i would assume 470x is for Ryzen 2 .

i think you need a motherboard with a 370x :

After doin some searching I think my motherboard needs updated bios before it will recognize the 1800x so it seems my options are get the 1700x which is compatible

yes you can borrow a ryzen 2 from a friend update the bios and then see if it works with your 1800x then.
