Good evening. I just completed a build today. Here are the specs:

MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
MSI Radeon 5500 XT 8GB GPU
EVGA 750 G5 PSU
32 GB RAM

I upgraded the BIOS prior to beginning the build.

When i boot up I'm getting a post code of one long and two short beeps. I get no video output from the card. The CPU does not have graphics on the chip. Research has indicated that it's a video issue. Reseated everything. I think it might have something to do with the connection between the PSU and the GPU. Everything appears to be connected correctly. When i disconnect the cable from the GPU that runs to the PSU I still get lights on the GPU. Not sure what might be going on. Any suggestions on steps or what might be wrong.

Thanks.

Solution
Ok since you have 32gb of ram, start off with one stick of ram.
Insert it into slot 1, power it on and see what happens.
What memory brand and model number do you have ?
Chances are it might not be compatible, also your mobo has onboard video.
Just to be on the safe side, remove it and put it back inside the bag for the moment.
