So after a few days of being undecided as to whether I buy the i5 4670k or the AMD FX 8230 I eventually opted for the FX 8320 as multi-tasking will be what I will be demanding most from the machine with some moderate gaming.
I am wanting to use dual monitors, one for playing poker (multitabling) and the other for video streaming simultaneously. At present I have a Intel Core 2 Duo E6850@3Ghz with 2x4GB DDR2 1333Mhz ram alongside 2x Quadro FX570 graphic cards. Now when playing say 6 tables of the poker and browsing firefox the cpu really starts to feel the strain and if I were to connect the 2nd monitor the pc just struggles ridiculously bad so I thought it would be best to treat myself with a decent machine.
However, I am wondering, with the graphics card I have purchased, can I have one monitor connected via the hdmi and the other via the dvi and they will both run smooth side by side?
If not what should I do? I have ordered most of the components from Amazon and I still have time to change my order around as they have not processed it yet.
My other question relates to cooling, should I buy any extra fans for case and Hyper 212 Evo?
I have posted the link to my case. I have not built a pc for years so any advice would be greatly appreciated and if anyone could perhaps guide me with the fan setup for which way the airflow will be going.
