[SOLVED] New build PC crashes when gaming

Hi all
Looking for some advice please. My son's PC crashes when he is playing games like COD and FS2020.
We built the PC but used a motherboard and CPU bundle.
Ryzen 7 2700x
MSI B450 Tomahawk
16GB Crucial Ram
GIGABYTE GEFORCE RTX 2060 OC 6GB
Windows 10
1TB Hard Drive
GameMax 1050w Modular PSU
500GB SSD M2

We have tried to use Benchmark software like Cinebench but the computer shuts down 10-15 seconds into the test. It shuts down mid gaming with temps no higher than 70.
I don't know what else to do as we have literally rebuilt the PC and it still crashes.
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks

When you have a hard shutdown like this, it tends to be caused by
  • Bad CPU or GPU cooling. Check if the connection between CPU and cooler is done right.
  • Loose RAM modules or other devices loose. When gaming or benchmarking, the increased temperature may disturb a bad connection.
Assuming all components are in good condition and you did all safety measures to prevent any esd damage (by grounding your body while building, using a hand wrist or similar).

Thanks for your reply. Everything is installed correctly and temps never go above 72. I have now stress tested with Prime95 and it shuts down in about 10 seconds. Could this be a voltage issue?
