Hi,

I recently put together my new build. Everything was installed correctly. I powered on and it took me to BIOS. I foolishly did not connect my optical drive when connecting all my PSU cables up. So I powered down, unplugged, reattached my grounding cable to my wrist and plugged all in appropriately.

However, when I powered on a second time I am receiving no signal to my monitor. Everything powers on correctly, including all fans, and the HDD.

I've tried moving my HDMI cable from the GPU slot to the MOBO slot. I have also tried a VGA cable, and have had no luck.

Is there any reason that I am not getting as to why this is happening?

Before anyone asks, no I have not got a hobo speaker installed.

Thanks.

Have you checked the connection on the screen? Try plugging in a different device to make sure the problem is the computer not the monitor. If it is the computer, try removing the graphics card and then plugging into the motherboard HDMI connector.

I've fixed this now.

I stripped it back down and rechecked all of the connectors from the PSU to the mobo and ensured everything was plugged in correctly. The RAM needed to be pushed in further (i.e. I had failed to install it correctly).

Working a dream now.

Thanks!
