Question New build problems

Hello everybody.
I am putting a system together for a friend and face some problems i need help with.
The system is
CPU: Intel I5-14600k
MOBO: Z790 Aorus Elite AX rev 1.1 latest Bios installed
VGA: RTX 4070 Gigabyte Windforce OC V2 12G
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 2x16 GB (DDR5-6400)
PSU: bequiet straightpower 11 750w
H/D: Samsung SSD 980 500GB

When i first installed the system there was power but no POST (did not get to bios). MOBO has 4 leds that indicate hardware problems. DDR was flashing and sometimes the CPU one.
I tried some ram combinations and managed to boot into BIOS and then installed windows using only one DDR stick at one slot (B2) and using the processor vga card.
All fans are spinning and power seems stable,
Any suggestions as what the problem may be?
My friend bought all pieces last week and i built the system over the weekend,

You probably need a bios update to start with. After that you might need remove heatsink and cpu, to inspect the motherboard for bent pins.

Run a memory check and post results.

Keep using the integrated video until you get everything else working. Is it just a matter now of getting the second RAM stick in? Will both work alone if in B2?

Thank you all for replying.
Only one stick works in one slot. RGB lights up on both but only with the one it boots.
I have updated the bios to the latest version and managed to install windows 10.
I think rtx 4070 vga card is not recognized at all even in windows (have not tried to install nvidia drivers yet)
