Build Advice New build - - - RAM problems: programs crash and "Status_Access_Violation" errors ?

Hello! A few weeks ago I started assembling my new pc parts: MOBO, CPU, GPU and RAM. But now I'm having game crashes, big zip files unzip crash, and a lot of errors in Crome "status_access_violation" that i understand is related to RAM issues.

CPU: Intel Core i7 14700K
MOBO: MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4 (MS-7D48) -> docs
RAM: Kingston FURY Beast 64GB (2x32)
GPU: GIGABYTE Radeon RX 7600 XT GAMING OC 16G (GV-R76XTGAMING OC-16GD)

• First, i updated motherboard bios to the latest version (with Microcode 0x12B), as PCPartPicker was warning of that. After that all the hw and windows installation went good.
• I've already changed the RAM sticks, from Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB to Kingston FURY Beast 64GB.
• Memtest86 and OCCT passed with flying colors.
• I've tried from XMP 3200 to no ram OC to manual OC, with no change in the problem.

I'm aware the weak link in this build is the motherboard, but by manufacturer specifications it should work.

I think the issue may be in my CPU IMC or somewhere in my Motherboard? Is this not a RAM problem at all? What should i do?

For the sake of relevance, what BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Did you clear the CMOS after verifying your BIOS flash was successful?

I'm aware the weak link in this build is the motherboard, but by manufacturer specifications it should work.
You picked the wrong board for that processor. You should've looked into a Z series chipsetted motherboard with a beefy VRM design.

How old is the XFX PSU in your build and what did it power prior to today?

I've already changed the RAM sticks, from Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB to Kingston FURY Beast 64GB.
If the capacity for the ram stayed the same, why did you change it?

Hi, thanks for the warm welcome!

The BIOS i installed is the latest available, 7D48vAJ. I did reset the CMOS a couple of times after installing it.

The PSU is old, ~6-7 years of service powering the following:

• MSI H97 GAMING 3
• Intel i5, but i really don't remember what model\clock
• 16GB RAM
• AMD Radeon R9-380

I've changed the first set of RAM sticks because i run Memtest86 and it was failing the Hammer test. I have read that failing only this test is not a sign of bad sticks, but at the time i was already noticing the crash problems. The sticks were still under warranty, so i sent them back anyway.

Regarding the Motherboard, i'm now aware it can be underspecced. I don't know nothing about MOBO techs, so i was using manufacturer specs to check compatibility. It seems this is not enough anymore :|
There is something else i should check before replacing it?
