New Build suggestions

So I am getting close (within a week or two) of ordering parts for my new build! How do these look?


CPU: I7 950
RAM: 3x2GB (6gb) ddr3 1600mhz
MotherBoard: GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R
PSU: RAIDMAX RX-850AE
Video Card: GTX 570
CASE: COOLER MASTER HAF 922

the LGA 1156 and 1366 platforms are about dead (x58).

you need to look at the newer LGA 1155 Sandy Bidge (Z68,P67 etc)

I wouldn't buy (new) last years tech if I was building a new rig.

i5-2500k, i7-2600k
GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P LGA 1155 (SLI) same grade as the x58 MB you chose.
Ram 2x2 or 2x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws X or Corsair, Mushkin, DDR3 1600/1.5v
PSU: ok with your pick
Video Card: ok with the 570, but a good 560Ti may save you some $
Case: personal preference
