Its time to build a new beast of a computer and was hoping you all could help me. As it's been a while. Right now I'm running an original quad core (the q6600) so time to replace almost everything.

What would be a good build? Right now I'm looking at going intel with the 8700k, msi z370 mobo. And 16 GB T-force Vulcan ram.

Not sure on what video card to go with. Wanting to get VR. One day. And hoping to get best bang for buck. Trying to keep build around 1200 Canadian.

If anyone has suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

(Keeping my case and psu for now (1000watt overkill psu)

Would be better if you could stretch that to 1500.

Tell me the make and model of the psu and the case. If you could stretch that to 1500, I would suggest an aftermarket cooler for the cpu, maybe some case fans...

I have an old alienware Aurora case. (Its huge) with a weird power supply in it. I bought the case and psu off of kijiji and put my computer in it. The power supply I belive is 1000 watts.

That build is pretty nice man. I'm kinda tempted on it. Heh.
