New build with 120GB SSD and 1TB HDD

Put together a PC with new SSD and HDD. Loaded Win7 on SSD with HDD unplugged. Plugged in HDD after system booted from SSD and want to use HDD for everything but OS and a few other programs. How do I assign the HDD as a another drive (E, F, etc..) and get OS to put all other data, programs, music, and pictures on it so that my SSD doesn't fill up?
