Hi fellas.

I've just finished building my new PC using:
Gigabyte GA-X99-Gaming WiFi
Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 2800MHz 16Gb (4x4Gb)
Intel i7 5930k

The system has worked for a week, albeit with a few hiccups.
If I played a game it blanked the screen for 5 seconds every few minutes.

I have checked all the connections making sure everything is well seated etc.
Okay so last night it started rebooting and sometimes it would get to the bios and sometimes not.
The error code on the motherboard is "50" "memory initialization error".

Before I read the forum I tried a different PSU and the problem remained.
I have pulled the RAM and tried one at a time, all were okay.
When I tried two together the problem reoccurs. I am now running on one memory module instead of the four.

I presume its the motherboard that is at fault??

Any help appreciated as to how to proceed.

Hi. Don't they have to go into specific slots for specific amounts of RAM?
From what I read in the manual I have to use certain slots depending on how many modules I am using.
1 Module = Slot DDR_4_3_1B
2 Modules = Slot DDR_4_3_1B + Slot DDR4_7_1D etc.

I'll pop out the CPU and get me magnifying glass onto it now to check.

Hi.
Okay, I tried memory in the left hand side, I installed the modules one at a time and they worked.
Imoved over to the right hand side and the first slot (grey) gives the error code 60. Then I moved the module onto the second slot and it gave error code 50, then moved onto the third slot and it gave the error code 60 then onto the last slot on the right hand side and it worked okay.
