Just made my girlfriend a smallish rig.
CPU: i7 13700k
Mobo: Rog Strix B760-A Gaming Wi-Fi D4
Power supply: Jupiter power ATX JP800W
CPU cooler: cooler master 212 v2 evo
Gigabyte 1050ti

The thing will not post. I replaced the motherboard once already thinking maybe I just got a bad board or damaged something somehow. Everything lights up and spins fine. The Q-led stops on DRAM; I’ve checked to make sure the sticks I have are compatible and not faulty by checking them in my own pc to see if they work and they’re all fine and I’ve got an assortment ( crucial Ballistix 4gb’s at 2400 mhz, and 8gb’s at 2666+ also tried with OLOy 3200 mhz 32gbs with no luck).
The RAM and the graphics card are the only recycled parts
The Ballistix 4gb sticks are new.
Double checked lanes and seating and still nothing

I know this is a common issue but I haven’t found any solutions so far and it’s driving me crazy. Any help is appreciated!

Yessir. New ram got here yesterday and just tried with two new sticks too. Haven’t tried with one yet. The rams definitely receiving power- it’s got the rgb’s and they’re lit up just fine. I’m at a total loss for why I can’t get to bios with this thing.

From personal experience: these memory slots look like the same ones I have on the Z790-E, the ones where there is only 1 clamp on the right end of the slot. I had a problem where my memory modules were not properly seated on the left end of the slot Q-led code 55. So I would suggest loosening the clamp, reseat the module making sure first that the left end is all the way down and the module is evenly seated on both ends before fastening the clamp. Its almost as if I needed to examine the seating of each module with a magnifying glass to make sure it was properly seating in these single clamp slots.

I appreciate the responses. I finally managed to get past dram and vga on the qled’s! I’m stuck at boot now though. I put the sticks in lanes a2 and b2 and it proceeded right through after letting it run for a minute. (tried it before, but whatever lol) I can’t seem to get anything to show on display now though and ctrl+alt+delete just restart pc/ delete and f2 do nothing. I’ve tried booting with just one stick and changing through multiple display ports, using known working graphics cards to try to output, and changing to other known working monitors. Still no luck yet.
