new build wont boot up

just finished my new build, and when i turn it on the front case led will turn with all the fans, but nothing appears on the screen. i tried to plug the display cable in the gpu and the mother-board
specs:
mother-board: msi A78M-E35
cpu: amd athlon II x4 860k black
gpu: amd sapphire r7 240
ram: hyper x fury 4 gb 1866 mhz ddr3
psu: corsair cx430
h.d.d: Western Digital WD5000AAKX Caviar BLUE HardDisk, 3.5 inch

Have you made sure the CPU power cable is plugged in (usually the top left of the board).
If you have, it sounds like an out of date bios. You'll need to flash it with an udated version. You'll need another CPU (older version or similar) to do this. If you dont have it, take it a computer repair shop and ask them to do it. Should cost around £15-20.

You could try it with 1 stick of ram in. Check connections on the motherboard.

Otherwise i'd suggest taking it to the shop - easiest way if you dont have another CPU. Sounds like a pain in the bum i know but i'm afraid thats the next step.
