New build wont start, R7 2700 + B350-F

I just got my new build set up, but it wont start properly. Once I put in the power cable (not using power button) the PC starts up with all fans for 2 seconds, then a very short beep and it shuts down. I have of course check all neccecary cables, tried detaching hard drives, GPU, front USB/Audio, and tried the one RAM in all slots.

And so I've read that the B350-F needs a BIOS update to run Ryzen 7 2700. Would this be the issue if the motherboard doesnt have the latest BIOS?

AMD Ryzen 7 2700
ASUS ROG Strix B350-F Gaming, Socket-AM4
ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Strix Gaming
HyperX Fury DDR4 2666MHz 8GB
Corsair 850W

Can you confirm bios version from vendor?.

Looks either ram or bios issue
Try switching the rams around

Well, on their products page it says "This motherboard has updated BIOS which supports Ryzen 2000-series.".

I only have one 8GB RAM, which I've had in all four slots.

Imagine if product sits on shelf for few months and being sold to customer, can you garantee it has latest software,?

Thats why you had to check with vendor

Yes I asked them, and they were pretty sure that it didn't have the latest BIOS. So I'll have someone over with a Ryzen 7 1700X to try and flash the BIOS.

This did the trick!

Ryzen 3 2200G(3.5GHz) Since BIOS 3203
Ryzen 7 2700(3.2GHz) Since BIOS 3803

Sticker on box may give you 3203 which is not good enough for Ryzen 7 2700.
Other users have reported this issue.
