Hey everyone,

So the time has come to build a new setup. I don’t use it for heavy gaming, Im into photography, so would need it to run photoshop etc.

Below are the parts I’ve listed, if you can make this better/cheaper I would be grateful.

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gKKJQq

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($166.89 @ Walmart)

Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Best Buy)
Memory: Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($71.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Kingston A2000 250 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($51.99 @ Adorama)

Solution
Didn't change too much to your own build since it was pretty good,

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($166.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler ($38.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Best Buy)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Kingston A2000 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($71.45 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB OC Video Card ($239.99 @ Best Buy)
Case: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case ($69.99 @ Best Buy)...
ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro M.2 for M.2

AMD processor likes the frequency of the ram to be Above 3600Mhz... around 3733 is best price/performance ratio...

That's all I can add... the rest is reasonably priced and i like how well rounded the build is.

The parts you have listed will be fine for your needs, aside from surely needing a bigger Hard Drive if you don't have one already. Only other thing is that you might not need the CPU cooler unless you plan on overclocking.

Iv got my final build parts together, what wattage power supply would i need for this build.

Just gave more ssd storage, imo better ram, and a good price performance psu. Don't think it's that much more than your original.

You could add this gpu if you want to spend the extra cash,
PNY GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB XLR8 Gaming Overclocked Edition Video Card (VCG20606SFPPB-O) - PCPartPicker
for the extra money good added performance, but don't know if you need it.

If really wanting to spend less would you need to look into Ryzen 1600AF or gtx 1650 Super, maybe even other motherboard, but gpu or cpu will give less performance.

Solution
Is the Adata SPX8200 not good? i see you have suggester crucial p1 or the a2000. Surely the adata has faster read/write speeds?
In some benchmarks yes does it better, comes price performance in play and whether you really will notice the difference in speed. if you can get a 512gb Adata SPX8200 for about the same money do go for it, but if it's alot more money (and from what i've found it is) then would i just pick the Kingston.
Choice is yours, so yes the Adata is mostly faster or as fast.

Crucial P1 is not bad at all either. It may be bit slower then others but is also lower priced. And also don't skip on WD Black. Which is very decent. To be hones no matter what SSD one picks it will not be a big performance hit. Just make sure it is of decent quality and have decent reviews.
