Question New build

I just insert the DVD and follow the instructions for loading windows onto a new pc build correct? I DON'T need any software installed for the bluray/dvd drive? That comes later right?

No software necessary. You could just source the installer, making the bootable USB installer, using Windows Media Creation Tools and be sure that you're already on the latest version of Windows 10.
