Hi

I am looking for help with a build from amazon.de parts specifically , I got a special coupon i could use for reduced prices there so asking if someone could make me a build for 1440p , I don't need monitor , Its mostly for gaming.

Budget is around 2500 euro.

thank you.

Intel or Amd. Need anything else besides monitor like Keyboard/mouse or Windows?
I know 7800x3d is really good for gaming so might go amd unless someone has an argument for intel. And no i do not need anything such as keyboard / mouse , Windows i can get a cheap copy i think or use my old one.

Thank you

Man for that money you can easily build 4k machine. I've just recently build my new system and paid 2575.

XFX Speedster MERC310 AMD Radeon™ RX 7900XTX - 1149 euro
AMD Ryzen™ 9 7900X3D - 499 euro
Lexar NM790 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD - 99 euro
Seasonic Focus GX-1000 PSU - 149 euro
ASROCK X670E Taichi - 449 euro
Lian Li O11 AIR MINI BLACK - 99 euro
G.Skill DDR5 Flare X5 F5-6000J3038F16GX2-FX5 2x16GB 6000Mhz CL30 - 125 euro

2575 euro

I've used my old water cooler for CPU. You can save some by going 7800X3D and it's even better for gaming.

If you really only need 1440p, than you can save big by buying something like XFX Speedster QICK319 Radeon RX 7800 XT for 599 euro.

Those cheap keys aren't reliable. You can transfer a license from an old system if you bought the OS yourself, retail or OEM, it is not a pre-built (HP, Dell etc) and is tied to your MS account so you deactivate it before activating on new PC.

Yes i have an old OS i got from retail , It should be alright.

A retail copy of Windows or a computer from a retail store? There is a difference. Latter is more difficult to activate but not impossible. Retail version of Windows you buy and install yourself can have several hardware changes.

So i am using a retail copy of window on this pc , I will just reuse it for new pc , i build this a decade ago so will just USB install windows and activate it with key i still got.

Also i do happen to have a 4070 TI GPU too , So disregard that

That's good then, save a bit of money.

Here's my take. Above build is good too, think mine is a little better :) obviously with more funds could increase 990 pro to 4tb or one of them. Mind you, for 7800x3D to work might require a bios update so prepare a usb stick just in case and make sure motherboard can update bios without cpu. The board i suggested does, not sure about Asrock these days, you'll have to look at features.

That looks fantastic , Any reason to go platinum PSU? i saw Asus strix 1000w for 170ish , Does that make sense ?

and 4070ti is good option? if i had the option to change gpu would you? and what would be recommendation ?

Don't have to but if you can afford what is the most reliable PSU out there then why not. If you side with something else make sure it's ATX 3.0 certified and at least 850w 10yr warranty from Tier A known brand ( https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/ ). PSU is the heart and a good one will be the last thing you change in a long long time.

Since you have 4070Ti i wouldn't change it. Not now, wait for 50 series RTX or Amd equivalent.

I am not good at reading the tier list , But thanks. I appreciate your help. Wouldn't 4070 ti bottleneck the system? Or is it gonna be able to handle everything at 1440p fine?

Tier list means units in section A means decent, 2nd best in tier B then so on to F which means 🔥 if keep using.

Graphics card won't struggle nor cpu restrict it from struggling. You'll enjoy the performance.
