New builder issue

New builder here.
ASRock ab350 k4 Mobo
Ryzen 3 1300x 3.5ghz
Teamgroup elite plus 4gb ram
500w psu
Gtx760 GPU

When I try to power on I get no display and only my CPU fan rotates a half a turn. Then I just have red LEDs on the board itself near the pci-e port slowly flashing. I'm at a loss for what to do. Everything is brand new.

thsi means gpu is not well seated and detect also did it need a power cable from psu .

Yes it has two pcie 6 pin slots on top of it. I have a single pcie 6pin power connector on my psu that was connected

I don't care how many watts it has, if your PSU does not supply enough PCI/E connectors for your GPU, then you need a new PSU that DOES have enough of the proper connectors (as well as enough power! )

So I've tried it without the GPU connected and I'm still getting nothing

any 5-600 watt unit from tiers 1 or 2 (either list) should be enough to handle what you have.
