[citation][nom]bustapr[/nom]they will keep making these games every year so long as they sell like they do. I will accept BO2 was much better than what I played of its predecessors, but I would really suggest they take a break after this next release. remember what happened with those other two dry cows in Activisions barn? yeah, Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero were once the prized IPs, now abandoned and humiliated. I have BO2 and CO4, I feel they are enough if I ever want to play close quarters military shooter. I wont be paying $60 this year for a new map pack.[/citation]

Kotick has made it clear that they will release a new title until it stops making money. I believe the word HE used was "exploit". What happened to Tony Hawk and GH was intentional. IW will definitely get a new CoD out in time, they don't want to be raided again by Bobby's goons.

So, now's where I enter complaining about the complainers of CoD. Not really. I'm a big CoD fan, yes, but even I can agree that there is a LOT that could be done with the series. Players of CoD cannot deny, however, that each CoD from MW2 up has gotten better. Black Ops 2 WAS a step in the right direction, but they could do better.

Plus, in my own opinion, I believe that CoD is not really the series to go to for single player. While I admit, Black Ops 2 did have an enthralling campaign that I did play multiple times, multiplayer and zombies/special ops have been their strong suits.

If you want single player fun, play Battlefield, Medal of Honor, Halo, Far Cry 3, etc.

People play CoD because of the outrageous multiplayer. Notice that no matter how much one rages at CoD they always keep playing it.

Just throwing my opinion out there.

🙂

Another call of garbage where they promise gold and diamonds and all the gamers get is a dull old pile of crap without what is promised and yet people buy it.... Amazing!

They should at least use a new engine. They have been using more or less the same engine for the past 5 years or so, simply modifying it each time.
