Hi, Im currently building a new PC and I need a new case, currently my rig fits in the Cooler Master Cm 690II, so I need all my rig to fit in the new one as well, Im not good when it comes to getting a good case but something good value not too expensive maybe around 100 or less dollars. Will need to fit the Gigbyte Z97x-sli, 980ti(gigabyte), 16gb HyperX blu and also, what psu do you guys recommend for this case and build? thanks!

Yeah, you could do worse. Spending ten to twenty bucks more gets you a much higher quality case with way better fans though. Also, that case doesn't have a heck of a lot of room to work in, especially on the back side of the motherboard tray where you'll need to do your cable management at mostly. These other cases have very good cable management features, and that alone almost makes them worth the difference in price.

Well, I have no fans right now except for the stock cpu one and then 2 small ones that are built into the case,. im not bothered about the side panel, however, I dont want my pc to overheat if there are no fans, im not sure how important fans really are, but if they are important then im guessing a case with some fans :)

Yeah, case fans are VERY important. You need to realize that if your CPU cooler only has the already hot air to work with when trying to cool your CPU, it's not going to be very efficient and it's not going to cool well at all.

It can only work well if it's getting a good supply of fresh outside air and if there is an exhaust fan getting all the hot air out of the case.

Certainly there are passive coolers that don't need a fan on the CPU, but even those will very much rely on case fans to exchange the air within the case.

What are your full system specifications including CPU, motherboard, graphics card, memory and current power supply? Model numbers can normally be found somewhere on the hardware itself or by using a utility like CPU-Z or GPU-Z to help identify what you have.

So, for your budget, and I've included three cases from lower in price to higher in price, but within your budget, that I think you might want to look at. The Phanteks Enthoo Pro series are really good cases, but so are most of BeQuiet's products. All of these cases come with fairly decent fans, obviously the fans and cases by BeQuiet and Phanteks are better quality than the Coolermaster unit, but if you need to spend a bit less you could do worse than this CM Masterbox Lite case.

Personally, I'd recommend the two better cases. Either one will be a good choice. If you want to spend a little more there are some really great cases in the 115-120 dollar range.

Any of those cases will fully support that hardware.

Honestly, just about any case over 80 bucks made by Phanteks, NZXT, Fractal design, Corsair or BeQuiet are almost assuredly good choices. Just be sure to look at the specifications to make sure it's a model that comes with fans preinstalled unless you don't mind spending a bit more on a couple of decent fans. They can be rather pricey but you can also get some decent fans in the 15-20 dollar apiece range.

Thanks,
Last question, would the Corsair CC-9011105-WW Carbide Series 270R Windowed Mid-Tower be a bad pick?
Its quite cheap on amazon.
