Currently thinking of building a really cheap lan pc and hopefully fit in a cheap case so I can easily carry stuff around, been almost a year carrying my other lan gaming pc which is fairly heavy and quite difficult to travel with (level 10 gt black) right now since I got some small cash to spare on a new rig was thinking it's the time for me to grab my own i3 ivy bridge system.

Total: 371.95$ without a case and a psu, right now I'm thinking of a corsair cx430 430W what do you guys think? or the cx500, also without the odd calculated together.

for case was looking at rosewill but seems i can see soem diablotek for cheaper. anyone know of their build quality? so far never handled any diablotek before.

was actually thinking of getting a 5570 or 5670 or something sapphire for a gpu but so far not around.

of course things that this pc will be running. are some few old games gonna be running on a old samsung 1920x1080 monitor (but gonna run it at lower resolutions)

old games like l4d, warcraft3 tft, cs 1.6 and some microsoft excel and word(nothing intense I say)

for purchase date, 2 days from now if possible and max of 5 days from now.

also thining if possible for some nice case that is easy to carry but all experience i have are from silverstone and those are pricey.

If you want to save money, you can drop down to 4GB RAM and/or drop down to the 6670. Everything else should be pretty OK, unless you also wanna drop down to a Pentium G8XX CPU.

well I wouldn't want to drop down to a pentium of sb or lower since i pretty much have most lower end cpu and sandy bridge socket. that's why i'm looking at ivy bridge.

hmm but i'm still liking a 7750 not sure about the gigabyte thought but I have a sapphire 7750 on my other rig and works wonders, how does the gigabyte fair? for their 7750?

besides the gamma classic case, you guys know something else that gives good quality case like nzxt/corsair/cm ???? but on the same price point of 40$ and below?

of course I'd like to strictly stick to 450$-480$ (no promo,shipping,and rebates)
