Trying to make a good yet cheap pc for OC.

"The pc is for Gaming and 3d modeling."

There are so many brands and models it gets hard to pick.

After hours and hours, :) I picked these, not sure if all will work fine for an OC but that is my main priority so if I need to change anything for that to happen pls tell me.

Board - €210 - MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon Intel Z390 SK1151

CPU - €240 - Intel Core i5 9600K 3.7GHz 9MB Smart Cache BOX - this Cpu can do 4.6 with turbo but it's possible to do more than that?

MEM - €175 - DDR4 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Black 3200MHz CAS16

Graphic Card - €665 - Asus ROG Strix RTX 2070 SUPER AE 8GB GDDR6

You get speed AND most importantly longevity out of the i7. That's what the extra price jump is mostly for.

However, the 6-core i5, especially overclocked to 4.9-5.0GHz would last you 3-4 years and longer. There's just always that possibility of the latest games coming out destroying the 6-core i5 because it lacks hyper-threading. There are a couple of games already that peg it out at 100% usage, Battlefield V is one of them. The OC helps it, but it doesn't eliminate that.

The six-core i5 is still one of the best gaming CPUs though, for now. The quad-core i5 had a good run, but now it's only entry-level even the ones from 2017.
Western Digital Blue. I only recommend these cheap HDDs for rarely used computers, for someone who will not use the computer frequently. Buy WD Black or other brands' NAS labeled disks. They are far better.

What is the price of 9700 (without K). I would prefer to buy 9700 instead of 9600K or have you ever thought about AMD? With CPU it is of course possible to get near to 5 GHz but 8 cores are becoming the norm now and I think my 9700K would aged quickly, it would even be worse for 9600K.

changed the HDD, power supply and cooling.

about AMD well I thought it was cheaper but nowadays they seem the same to me in terms of prices and power?

about jumping to i7 9700, it's €20 cheaper than the 9700k probably would be better to go with 9700k

€380 - Intel Core i7 9700K 3.6GHz 12MB Smart Cache BOX - it's a €140 jump, do I really get that much performance and speed out of this one because the price sure is a lot more.

in terms of age if this processor could stay alive for 3 4 years with an OC of 4.7k to 5k I am good with it.

I strongly suggest you to check AMD. Their boards are cheaper, their CPUs give better performance for the same money.

Games started to use 8 cores. It is becoming the new norm. As MrN1ce9uy mentioned BFV uses all cores, BF1 was using just 6. If this core increase trend continues, that might mean you will face performance issues very much earlier.

If the money is an issue, buy a cheap B360 mainboard, put a 9700 (non K) CPU. It would cost slightly higher than your rig, but it would perform better without overclocking. But would last 1-2 years more.
