I just built a new computer with the ASUS Z97-Pro motherboard, and it seems to be working fine. But maybe half an hour after turning it on, it starts beeping continuously. It continues to perform fine, but the beep is annoying. It turns off occasionally for brief periods of time, but then it starts up again. How can I fix this issue?

Solution
Yes, that would be the issue. The Hard Drive has either foreign materials (dust, other things) or it is dead. Back it up now and RMA it. Get a new one.

That probably means CPU overheating. Check that your cooler is tightly seated.

I opened the case while the computer was on, and upon closer inspection it seemed that the beeping wasn't coming from the motherboard, it was coming from my mechanical hard drive. After removing power from it, the beeping stopped immediately and I haven't heard it since. I guess this means I can't use my HDD.
