New Computer Build Problems

So I recently just did a new system build (my first) and I’ve run into some issues.

The build

Windows 10 (couldn’t get windows 7 to work)
Asrock AB350M
Ryzen 7 1700
Giel evo potenza 16Gb (2x8) ddr4
Zotac Mini GTX 1060 6gb
Corsair 650m PSU

The issues I’m having are lots of freezing (audio plays for a bit, video is frozen), black screen (audio sometimes stays, random restarts. I’ve also noticed that sometimes when I go to do a restart it doesn’t fully shut down? As in power stays on.

I did a fresh install of windows 10 multiple times with usb fall creators install. I’ve tried reseating ram and swapping spots, currently in a1 b1. I’ve done all windows updates, and run trouble shooter. I’ve looked for corrupted files and ran computer repair. I’ve made sure all drivers are updated with driver booster 5 or directly from manufacture website. I’ve tried to move the gpu to different slot, and checked seating of it and cpu.

I’m kinda just frustrated right now! I want to use this damn thing but it won’t let me finish one pubg game half the time!

So I am still having issues with my new build.

Ryzen 7 1700

Gskill 16gb (2x8) on the QVL

I have done a fresh windows install and tried to update windows but having lots of issues. Im running the 3.30 bios on the Mobo. Ive checked to make sure all my drivers are updated as well. Im running the ram at 2133 in slot A2 and B2 since some thought this might help.

The computer boots and runs but constantly locks up or freezes. No BSOD just frozen. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes sometimes less. Not really sure what other things I should check.

The windows updates are now causing an error 0x8007000d and the update trouble shooter does not resolve the issue.

So I am still having problems with constant lock ups and freezing which causes me to manually shut down the system.

I am running the 3.3 bios and ive turned the cool and quite mode off on in the UEFI settings but it seems im still having issues. Ive checked my drivers and even uninstalled and reinstalled.

I did a clean install of windows 10 but had issues with that and finally got it done. Windows update im now having issues with and getting an error 0x8007000d and sometimes it locks up when running the updater.

Windows update trouble shooter comes up with errors too but is unable to resolve them for what ever reason.

This is so damn frustrating I have had this build for a few weeks now and have yet to enjoy it.

What are your CPU temps under load? Are you using the Ryzen Power Settings in Windows

Are you overclocking? If so, clear the CMOS and start over. It could be an unstable overclock.

I have not overclocked or adjusted any settings. I am not sure what the temp currently is at. Kind of new at this.

downlaod hardware info 64 bit set it to logging and sensor make sure the power supply is fine. check for bent pins on the cpu.

even just starting up the comp and letting it sit idle it will freeze up after a few minutes....

im also having the 100% disk issue. now the computer will not even get past the welcome screen with out freezing....

Replaced the Mobo with a Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 yesterday and have had zero problems. The other Mobo must have had issues with the Video card or just defective in some way....
