Hi guys, this is my computer build at the moment I have bought just a few of the components but am in the process of deciding on the others at the moment. I want a rig for gaming (Day Z, Arma III etc.) any improvements suggested would be appreciated. I was unsure about motherboards in particular but I know I want to go with Asus.

Computer Components:
Zalman Z11 Plus Midi tower case (Bought)
Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB Sata III 3.5” Hard Drive (Bought)
Samsung 24x DVD RW (Bought)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 Motherboard
AMD FX-6350 Black Edition CPU
Corsair Vengance Low Profile 8gb DDR3 RAM
Corsair RM850 Power supply

Will this computer be able to run Day Z and Arma 3? Would the build carry out multiple applications such as Skype, ITunes, word and excel all at the same time?

The graphics card you have is PCI 3.0 while your motherboard only supports PCI 2.0
Most (pretty much all) AMD motherboards don't support PCI 3.0 (don't ask me why). It would work I think but not as fast and as efficient as it could.

Ok then what sort of graphics card do I need to look at for the best support? I have a budget of £200 for the graphics card.

Thanks,
Alex

Touche my good sir,
kudos

So what effect will running a PCIe 2.0 slot on the motherboard with a PCIe 3.0 graphics card and what is a 970 board (if that is the chipset I can't seem to find it on the Asus website).
Thanks,
Alex
