Hi, I have a new PC that I'm trying to connect to my home wifi. It can't seem to see either of the networks (wifi does 2.4ghz and 5ghz simultaneously), but can see neighbours' in the list. As per the title, my phone/tablet can still use wifi, and previous computer that was in exactly the same spot (and a lot older!) could see it. Please help!

I've tried the things listed in the common questions like this in other places, including power cycling the modem/router and computer, making sure I have the latest driver for the adapter, making sure the SSID was not hiding the networks.

System details (desktop):
  • MSI B450M Mortar Titanium motherboard
  • Corsair CX650M 650W power supply
  • ASUS PCE-N15 Wireless N300 PCI-E adapter
  • Windows 10 64 bit
  • ISP - Southern Phone , NBN standard speed
  • NetCommWireless NF18ACV

Solution
You won't see ANY 5Ghz because that PCE-N15 card is 2.4Ghz only.
You could have a channel problem depending on what country you have chosen in the router Manually choose channel 1, 6, 11 with 20Mhz channel width
Ensure you have WPA2-PSK set for security. Make sure you have MAC filtering DISABLED.

Turns out it was the channel. Thank you so much!!
