Hi there,
I built a gaming PC a few weeks ago and its usually running smoothly. About 2 weeks ago the computer completely froze in a game although it was on for about 8 hours (downloading and gaming). The speakers made a buzzing noise and it completely locked up forcing me to shut it off by holding down the power button. It never happened until last night and this morning. Yesterday it was on for about the same time as before, maybe longer and it was exactly the same. It also happened about an hour ago after being on for 2 hours so I put this up. It only ever freezes when I'm in that certain game (iRacing). The GPU is factory overclocked at 1000mhz. Its 24 degrees celsius here and the tower itself is under a table. Is it a heating issue? Should I take the side panel off for a few days while it is hot outside? I'm also using the Windows CPU gadget and the CPU is usually in between 3% and 15% on the dial. Any help is appreciated
Thanks,
Oscar
