HI all,
I recently built a new computer. Specs follow:
Motherboard - MSI Z270 Gaming M5
RAM - 32GB Corsair Vengeance LED
CPU - i7 7700K @5GHz
GPU - EVGA GTX 1070
M.2 SSD - Samsung 60 Evo 250GB
HDD - 2TB Western Digital Green
The Issue
Now, for the last couple of weeks, I've had no issues loading programmes or Windows) at all. In fact, the 960 is really impressive, very fast! I have Windows 10 installed to it, and the majority of my games also.
Today, I tried booting up my computer. In the BOIS screen, there are dots forming a circle that spin to indicate that it is loading - it never DID load though. It stayed on that screen for about 20 minuites before I restarted. I looked online, and someone's mentioned about removing the mouse! So I did, I removed my Logitech G600 and it booted into Windows! I plugged in my mouse again, loaded Steam (which worked) and went to load Counter-Strike. The same issue happened with Counter-Strike, though. I would get the loading screen, which would play at about 2FPS and then never fully loaded into the menu screen.
I ask you all if this is a common issue, if there's a fix, or if there's dodgy hardware that I need to replace!
Thanks all!
Luke
