New computer won't start

I have a 980ti graphics card
i7 7700k cpu
850w psu
Aorus Z370 gaming 7 motherboard
Corsair h55 liquid cooler
Dual vengence 16b ram ddr4

My motherboards rgb lights flicker on and then off when I switch the power on and then when I press the power button on the computer the whole computer turns on then off again for a few seconds and goes on again but then it has a red light on the cpu indicator and does a cycle of one beep and then a click and repeats but never turns on properly, any ideas what is wrong? Thanks

Well you have a problem.

The Aorus gaming 7 motherboard isn't compatible with the i7 7700K, that's none of Aorus gaming 7 motherboard versions.

z370 only work with 8th gen cpu

Nope, won't work.

That MB is for 8th generation CPU's only, the 7700K is 7th gen.

Yeah I found it, it was buried, had to click Z270 to get it come up.

As an added note might want to rethink that cooler too and get a better AIO or a good Air Cooler.

That's going to struggle keeping the CPU cool.
