Hello everybody!
My old stock fan has failed me so I have ordered a new fan http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002CIDIPW/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=19M4M1QZGZYSKKAB6GNG&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455344027&pf_rd_i=468294
This fan says in the description that it has pre applied thermal paste. So what is the procedure do I just remove old thermal paste of the cpu with alcohol and place the fan on? Or do I need new thermal paste on the cpu? I ask this because it says specifically pre-applied thermal paste.
Please give me suggestions and thank you in advance!

Solution
Yes, just remove the old thermal paste with alcohol, wipe it with cloth pad or paper towel and then install the new cooler. No need to apply thermal paste, because the cooler comes with pre-applied.
