New cpu =less pins than the older one

So my setup will be 1 x PNY XLR8 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 , 1 x GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard , 1 x Diablotek UL Series PSUL775 775W ATX 12V v2.31 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply , 1 x AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor , 1 x MSI R7770-2PMD1GD5/OC Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 , old computer case and Hdd
 


Drop that DiabloTek PSU. It's absolute junk, and you don't need anywhere NEAR 775W for that system.

I know that you're in the UK, but try to find this PSU. Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
 
too late dude.. its arriving at my place in 2 days already payed .. but what does it change if i havealot of wattage or not? its just going to be future proof
 


Too much wattage isn't the problem, the quality is, but at least you won't be pushing it very hard. DiabloTek PSU's have a bad habit of failing catastrophically and taking other things with them when they're pushed too hard and fail. Hell, they do that even when they're NOT pushed too hard too, actually. As long as you know the risk...
 


Yeah, but Newegg reviews are useless, usually lol. Most people that post reviews there don't really know what they're talking about. It's unfortunate, but true.
