New CPU no display

So I upgraded from a i5 4670k to an i7 4770. The display use to work fine but now there is no display to the monitor. Not even a beep on startup.

Are you using the on-board video? Did you check to make sure all the power cords are connected? Can you put your old CPU back in and does it work?

I sold my old cpu. And no I am using my Gpu. All the power cords are connected. Could it be a bios update? How much newer is the i7 4770 than the i5 4670k

are ur cpu fan spinning...did u seat the unit correctly???
reset the jumper settings on your motherboard...
bios update shdnt be a prblm...this is intel 4th gen...shd wrk with tht board...
try all the display ports on ur system...

Tried all this. Still didn't work. Do you think that I could be my broken cpu fan? It won't screw in my motherboard anymore as the pointy plastic ends are now bent, and broken off. If I order a watercooler do you think it will solve the problem?

You could be overheating the CPU. If you told us the fan was broken from the get-go, you might have had this fixed faster.

The Coolermaster Hyper212 Evo is a nice cooler or any Corsair Water Cooling unit.

Actually I tested with a different CPU and I still get the issue.

If you're using a different CPU with the same broken fan, you're going to get the same result. Buy. A. New. CPU. Fan.

Never used it. Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair Closed Loop water cooler or any one the list from the Tom's article about the best cooling.

cpu is a very sensitive and important hardware...if i were u, i wud make sure that i get the best for it...
