New CPU or another Graphicscard?

Not angry, however, cracked win7 may very well be the culprit. When you get pirated software, it's sort of a Caveat Emptor type thing. You never know for sure what you're getting, or what they did to the software.

Personally, I think a proper windows install would likely fix your issues.

Thanks man, feels better now when I think we have solved the problem. Will buy win8 in the end of the month or near christmas, will come back then if i dont have any other questions.

Hi again. Just wanted to know a thing. On my motherboard i have 10 SATA 6Gb/s conectors. 2 is white and 8 is brown. What is the diffirent? Have watched everywhere but cant find anything. I have my things in the brown ones so if that is wrong, that could be the problem.

I believe it's the SATA controller. Consult your motherboard manual. It will tell you specifically which one is which. Although I believe it make no big performance change between both controllers.

Then all your ports should be SATA3, no worries. The 2 white ones may have some sort of priority over the others, but not a major issue.

I'm gunna hazard a guess and say your still having this issue that you have just come to live with it .. I read down throught the thread there and havent seen this mentioned .. it really helped me I had a similar issue with my FX-8320.. Im running dual HD 7850s (not the greatest card but pretty decent) anyway there was no rhyme or reason for this lag and random frame drop .. did my head in .. i tried overclocking gpu and cpu .. no different just the system ran hotter temps i uninstalled and reinstalled drivers flashed bios's everything .. probably did more harm than good .. when i found out that the fix was so simple .. it really annoyed me .. but if you havent tried it (and i havent seen it mentioned here yet) try this

Unpark CPU Cores the majority of people having the same issue that you have, have found that doing this fixes the issue

I hope this isnt a dead thread and that your still taking help because if you still have the issue Im pretty certain this will fix it.

I really dont think it is your CPU, thats the best AMD CPU available. I would upgrade the graphics card. You should run games in windowed and monitor your cpu and gpu. GPU's have the bigger effect on gaming

There's nothing wrong with any of his components, he need unpark his cores ..

Hi

Yes i still have this problem. I have high fps but feels very low, and fps lower than 59 is la aaa gg gggg ggg yyyy. Not realy that laggy but it is not how it should be at least. You should not feel that mush of a diffirent between 40 and 60 fps. I don't know if it could be that my gpu is to hot. I dont know how to see how hot it is. If it isnt that it could be my cracked/fake windows 7 ultimate. I'm going to buy windows 8 and see if that helps. It could be that parked core thing aswell, I dont know.

Ok

Google and download HWMonitor - will give you temps for CPU and GPU and also fan speeds and more

Windows 8 will greatly improve your performance it utilises system hardware allot better than windows 7

Especially in windows 7 unparking your cores will greatly help performance

Do all of this and you should be fine

I moved from windows 7 to windows 8 and honestly performance wise I have never looked back I also unparked my cores it really helped as well

I mentioned how to unpark cores in a previous post

Also make sure you have the latest nvidia graphics drivers

Best of luck

That should help you quite a bit

Ok, in HWMonitor the CPU is around 50C and the GPU around 55C on BF4 high in windowed mode so i could check it easily. I dont think the cpu is 50C, I think it is hotter then that. So I dont know if i should trust that program but is the temperature good if it is true?

Thats temperature sounds right .. if you dont trust it there are other programs to check it like coretemps,

have you unparked cores?

and I wouldnt run the game on high .. if your getting a steady framerate thats fine .. but I would run it on low - med .. Im running crossfire 7850s OC and I run on low to med settings quality is still fantastic but its the only way I can maintain a steady frame rate

in my eyes 50degrees is good while gaming for your cpu I have watercooling and mine sits at 29degrees idle and 45degrees while gaming

I did something similar to you when i first got my fx-8320 kept tweaking settings and all the rest it drove me insane .. best advice leave it alone and let amd work its magic

just a note .. I know your running windows 7 ultimate but Windows 8 will utilise your computers hardware alot better than 7 and your computer will perform a lot faster ..

did you do everything i mentioned in the last post? hows your rig running?

Ok thanks. I have the latest drives but I havent unparked the cores jet. But the funny thing is that it is smoothier on Ultra then High in some maps and medium and low is laggy even when it is more stable than high and ultra

You should really unpark your cores it will make it even better honestly i dont understand why you have held off on doing this .. its a 30sec job and a restart .. and bam shacka lam your sweeter than before

I know the threads a few days old but if you unpark the cores and it is still laggy go into task manager and when you are playing the games that lag see if there are only one or two cores being used while the others aren't being used. The lag could be that only 1 or 2 cpu cores are being utilized, just a guess!

I knew I was forgetting some yes if you alt tab while playing bf4 and open task manager and right click bf4.exe and set affinity make sure the game is using all cores.. although BTW this latest update is either going to help your graphics or going to throw a whole new set of problems your way

That and under performance make sure the graphs for the individual cores are being used, if its running on 1 or 2 cores that could cause lag, and the CPU usage would say its low because the other cores aren't being used

Okay i think i have the answer/answers. One could be that my ram is only runing at 1439 Mhz for some reason, Or it could be that it is something wrong with my gpu. The problem is that it is strutering and you can pritty much count the frames eaven if it is at 70-120 fpsb but if vsync is on and it is at 60fps smooth as butter but if it gets to 61 or 59 struttering or if it just drops or ads it struttering. But i tried to test with my DVI to HDMI cable instead of just HDMI and it helped actualy but if it gets under 55 or over 62 it is strutering. I can play without vsync off now but if feels like 30 fps if it is under 60 and under 120. it is not struttering on 60 fps and not over 120. So could be that my gpu is damaged or something? Should i send it back and get a new one? or is it the memory, should i overclock them and see if that helps? I dont know if struttering is the right word but what i get is basically like a line and you se like two frames, but i get 3-5 lines. it is difficult to described how it is and i cant show you because when i record it you dont see it but i could mabey try record it with my phone so you see how bad it actualy is, it mabey dont sound that bad but trust me it is realy bad and annoying. Especially when i spent so much money on it.

(Sorry for the bad english)

The 770 is a beast card!
Go intel on your board :) (Never been a fan of AMD processors or any AMD products before. I just admired how cheap they were for their specifications)
I have an ancient i5-2500k but it still does the job :)
Goodluck!

The CPU is fine, no way in hell will it bottleneck a 770. What might be the problem is that you have put the card in the first slot, a lot of cards perform better when in their ideal slot. If you still have the motherboard manual, check which slot to put your card in for single card solutions.

Hey, one thing that hasn't been mentioned yet. What's your monitor? It could be an issue with your monitor, as everything else seems fine. Is there any way you could test your system out on another monitor or tv? I'd try it and see if it works.

Just want to point this out for all of you here... I do not want to disrespect you, but how in the world can you people claim that the 8350 is a bottleneck for the 770? The 8350 keeps up with the 4770K, and it evens beats it in some games... You're far far away from any bottlenecking with a 8350 and that should not be the problem in your rig... even a FX-6300 is able to keep up with the 770 or even the 780 for what that's worth, yes it'll have a few less frames than the 8350 or the 4770K will, but it's still not bottlenecking the card! people these days don't even know what bottlenecking means... You dont have a bottleneck until your CPU is so slow that the GPU can't go full blast because the CPU can't keep up... Look up Jaztwocents on YT, he did a video explaining this and how it works...

Now that I'm done with my rant I wan't to point out that there is something wrong with your rig, could be aproblem with the CPU for all I know, but then it's a faulty component not a bottleneck...

Hi again guys. I think the issue is my ram or the motherboard it self because as i said in another post my ram is runing at 1439 mhz when they should be at 1600 mhz, but the thing is i cant change it to 1600 mhz only to 1728 mhz, so a talked with a friend that have been working for microsoft that it could be the bios or that the memory is damage/broke. I had another screen befor and i cant honestly remeber if it was lag on that one but on my tv its wors so dont think its the screen but it could be that to.
