Well, a few day ago aquired a new cpu, i5-760, to replace my i3-530, the thing is, when i installed the new cpu, the computer won't start, as i said, all the fans, PSU, GPU, CPU, spins for a second and then turn off, and then turn again and do the same thing all over again, the thing is, when i put my old CPU, my computer starts normally, i updated my BIOS to the latest version, and nothing, still the same, my motherboard is an MSI H55M-E33, i also tried testing without vga, hard drive, and still the same, i cleaned and moved the rams, i restarted the cmos, no changes, when i put my old cpu, everything works perfect, i need some help with this, here is very hard to find core i5, i7 for 1156 motherboards, i would love to make it work.

pd: sorry for my bad english, it's not my main language.

Double check your beep codes. Sounds like something similar that happened to me. I would power on my PC and the fans and everything would spin but I would hear a beep, then silence, then beep again, then it would power off and power on again. Double check your rams to make sure they're secured and in all the way. Those little suckers use more force than you think.
i have a generic samsung 500w, i did some research before and i really thought that my psu could work, even with everything disconnected and only the cpu and cpu fan connected, it did the same thing, and when i connect my other components (core i3-530, geforce gtx 1050, hdd wd 1tb) everything works fine, that's why i discarded the psu.

what do you mean about model i'm using in my system? if you reffer to the bios version, im using the last one that the official msi site provided.
