Hi, I have had my CPU, RAM & Mobo for 5 years now and I think its time to upgrade them.

My current specs are-
Processor - i5 4590K Quad Core (3.3Ghz)
Graphics Card - Zotac GTX 1080 8GB AMP! EXTREME
RAM - 16GB Kingston RAM
Hard Drive - 1TB Seagate Baracuda
External Hard Drive - Samsung M3 1TB Portable
SSD - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
Motherboard - Asus Sabertooth Mark 2
PSU - Corsair 1000W Gold Modular Power Supply

I would like to buy an i7 7700k, 16gb DDR4 RAM (2x8GB) and I need a new Mobo as I have an incompatible socket. I don't know the ins and outs of PC's and I'm really torn between what to go for. I would like the budget to be £600 max for the 3 components. I have a 144hz 1440p monitor and would like to get a significant fps boost when i play on my current ultra/near to ultra settings.

I just need advice on what RAM & Mobo to get as I have no clue. Thanks!

That fits my budget perfectly! However, I am worried that I will not be able to overclock my CPU in the future due to it being a cheap mobo, what limitations would this mobo have on my system? May it reduce performance? I may upgrade the ram though to a higher mhz due to the 2400mhz & 2666 only being about £15 more at this moment in time.

I have the ASUS z170-E. From the same family and i can over clock my memory and my CPU which i did yesterday. The listed Mobo supports to 64Gb of ram. and its a ATX case size. You should be able to support those RAM speeds. The Motherboard should not affect any performance at all. i bought mine on amazon on sale for $130 and its super easy and simple and can overclock mostly anything i see
