Just built a new computer for the first time and everything seems to be working fine except for the audio. Specs are below but my monitor is connected to the graphics card output and my speakers are connected to the green port on the back of the computer (motherboard) and I can't get any sound to play. I've downloaded the latest realtek audio drivers and they even recognize that speakers are plugged into to back port. If I'm playing audio with the speakers connected microsoft's sound devices will even show it "playing" sound with the green audio bars moving up and down. I've tried them on a different computer and they worked fine and tried connecting them to the front headphone port but I get the exact same result. At this point I just don't know what could be causing them not to play any sound. Any help?
