Core i7 3770 is Ivy Bridge (Socket 1155)
Z87 motherboard is socket 1150 (Haswell)
These are not compatible.
Consider the Core i7 4770 instead.

I would put your money in a saving account and build the system by buying parts on black friday/cyber monday. between now and then your going to have the newer amd and nvidia gpu drop. haswell-e cpu and haswell refresh. also sometime in early 2015 is intel new skylark cpu. (haswell replacement that use ddr-4 ram).
if i was going to build a killer rig.
haswell-e cpu
2011-e motherboard
870/880 nvidia gpu
16g of ram
256g boot ssd
2g hard drive
850w power supply for sli when i could afford the other gpu.
good sound card.
