Question New diver needed?

I was installing a Gfx card for a friend who has a Ryzen 4600G APU. He had the latest driver installed for his Radeon Vega 7 igpu. I had installed DDU and set it to not download any driver, but I forgot to run it. I just booted up with the new card (RX 5600 XT) installed and was surprised to see the previous driver "converted" itself automatically to the 5600 XT. My question is this: Is it really necessary to install the 5600 XT driver I had downloaded?

Only if the old driver was outdated and you experience problems. Otherwise I would give it a try.
