Without makes and models we can't check what connections you have available.
If your TV has a headphone jack use that.
If your TV has a digital audio out then you need a digital to analog converter.
If it doesn't have any audio outputs then you need an HDMI input selector with audio extraction.
On another forum it was suggested I get a HDMI to composite converter...use the L/R RCA jacks for the audio to the amp, and then a RCA to HDMI converter for the video to the TV...will that work?

Re: home stereo system. Just inherited a Denon DAP 2500 pre-amp and Denon POA 2800 Amp (200 W X2). I know nothing other than the cheap integrated amps I've used all my life.
I'm currently using a Sony STR-DE197 (100 W X2), the best amp/receiver I've had until now.
Other than twice the wattage, what other enhanced features/functions can I expect? Crisper/cleaner sound? What's that?
Less distortion? Answer in simple terms please (lol)...
