pick one that has the size and features you want. Both companies make decent drives and all of them will probably break if you drop them.

Remember that important data always needs to be kept in/on multiple drives. never just one one.

read the features, study reviews.
Some are large, some are pocket size. Some start automated backup when you attach them, some just show up as external drives. I didnt check these but some externals even have drive encryption so other people cant use the drive if they steal it.

We dont know whats important to you to help you choose.
